Byron Bay is a well known host to an array of renowned attractions, and the third annual Byron Bay international fashion festival has found a niche in the busy event calendar. Patrons will enjoy a day and night program of indoor and outdoor Runway Shows with top models walking designer collections. Due to the renowned location and audience exposure BBIFF 2017 is earmarked to become a boutique industry event for emerging labels. This annual showcase promotes acclaimed local labels alongside established fashion houses. Typically Australian designers will present fall and winter collections with international designers presenting spring and summer collections. The day and night program of indoor and outdoor runway shows will display a wide variety of styles, with top models walking swimwear, lingerie, resort, casual, and evening wear.
The new five-star beach resort Elements of Byron will host the festival and is promoting the occasion as an exclusive fashionable holiday, encouraging patrons and participants to stay at the resort and fully appreciate this destination event. Elements offers two pavilions with state of the art facilities ideal for a high profile fashion show. The fashion festivals growing prestige and the resort’s luxurious location and high-end conferencing facilities combine perfectly to produce an outstanding one of a kind production. Our production team has extensive large-scale festival experience and has designed an innovative fashion spectacle.
The 2017 program will showcase over twenty established and emerging designers presenting Swimwear, Lingerie, Resort, and Evening wear. Complimenting the fashion shows will be a screening of the latest award-winning fashion films and the inclusion of classical ballet and modern dance along the runway.
To keep you bouncing between the afternoon, sunset, and evening sessions, an “all girl” line up of DJs will complete the cocktail party atmosphere in the Banksia Courtyard. In true Byron style, the event is a meeting point where participants and audiences alike can make new connections and celebrate the booming local fashion industry.
